The weekend maths.
How many weekends are left this year?
The big number counts every weekend owned by this local calendar year that has any time remaining. It updates automatically as weekends begin, end, and the year changes.
How is a weekend counted?
A weekend is Saturday plus Sunday. It belongs to the year containing its Saturday, which gives every weekend one clear owner.
Does this weekend count?
Yes. During Saturday or Sunday, the current weekend still counts because part of it remains. It becomes completed at local Monday 00:00.
How many weekend days are left?
This is counted separately. A Saturday or Sunday counts if that calendar day is today or later and lies inside the current year—so it is not simply weekends multiplied by two.
What if a weekend crosses New Year?
The Saturday decides which year owns it. Only Saturday/Sunday dates actually inside the current year contribute to the weekend-days count.
Are public holidays included?
No. There is no country detection or holiday calendar. Weekend means Saturday and Sunday everywhere in this first version.
Why does local time matter?
Your browser provides local calendar boundaries, including daylight-saving changes. No location permission or timezone service is used.
